As NTPC enters it’s digital age, we welcome the  E-office. We have all seen that with the introduction of digital revolution, the world is moving towards progress with a much faster speed; achieving more in less time. NTPC management has always worked aggressively towards making the office environment and processes more progressive and updated. Continuing this momentum a proactive approach for digital initiative to become a paperless working environement, namely project PRADIP has been initiated. As a part of project ‘PRADIP’ ,we present to you a new module “ e-office ”, aiming to achieve more in less time, moving a step closer towards becoming more eco-friendly and efficient. With switching to E-office we will take a big leap from manual processes towards becoming fully digital. PRADIP                PRo- Active   and    Digital Initiatives to Become a Paperless Office        During 2017 , NTPC spent Rs. 5.52 Crore (Office Stationary Rs 1.00 Crore + Cartridges-Rs. 4.52Crore) on consumables, A4-size paper consumption was 3.32 Crore pages during year 2017 equivalent to 4100 trees and employee man-days spent is approx. 16 days/year in locating / searching / delivery of files/documents .              By using enormous amount of paper we are not only causing great damage to our planet’s ecological system but this old school practice is also slowing us down.
